In Romans 1: 16-17 we learn about the power of the gospel. We first read "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes" One must confess one's faith in God without worrying about other people’s opinion. This means an active relationship with God and a fruitful life in His name. Man receives God's guidance and becomes a vessel of enlightenment and love for the rest of humanity.
Christ, who is the Son of God, teaches us that the greatest form of power is the ability to sacrifice ourselves for what we love. Christ sacrificed himself for us in order to create an eternal love agreement between God and mankind. However, in order for a gift to be used, the addressee must first accept it.
Below we read " For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed - a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith” " To understand the righteousness of God, we must first choose to learn about Christ, be saved in His name, and begin a new life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The power of the gospel is revealed when we understand the law of God, as it allows the spiritual strengthening of the person who decides to come closer to the Almighty. The gospel gives us access to the Divine power and meaning to our lives. We then have a beneficial purpose by being productive in God’s work. We receive and give support by becoming available for the people around us. We experience an eternal relationship with God. This allows us to feel the true joy, as God realizes great works through our lives.
